A little preparation makes your pickup faster, cheaper, and less stressful. Here is what to sort and check before the crew arrives.

Start with the pickup path

Walk the route from the items to where the truck will park. Move small obstacles, unlock gates, and mention stairs, elevators, tight turns, or long carries when you request your quote. The clearer the path, the quicker the load.

Separate what stays

Use clear piles or notes for keep, donate, and remove. If a room has mixed items, point out anything sentimental, valuable, or still under review before loading begins. It only takes a minute and it prevents mistakes.

Send useful photos

Photos help us estimate the job before we arrive. Include one wide shot for volume, one close shot for item type, and one access shot if parking or stairs might affect the pickup. Better photos usually mean a faster, more accurate quote.

Set aside anything that needs special handling

Hazardous waste, wet paint, fuels, chemicals, and similar items cannot go in a standard junk load. Keep them separate and ask us first — we will help you find the right way to dispose of them safely.
